Promoting independence and a sense of well-being

We also provide help with activities of daily living to promote independence and a sense of well-being. These services may include assistance with bathing and dressing, cooking, navigating the environment, and safety awareness.

Creating a safe and prepared home before discharge is important. After completing the rehabilitation therapy, the therapist will meet with each individual and caregiver to assess the person’s home environment for safety and make the appropriate recommendations for assistive devices.
